Stacking the Shelves (95) + Weekly Recap!

Posted March 30, 2014 by Nereyda/ 21 Comments

I can’t believe March is almost over, 2014 is going by way too fast and there seems like there is never enough time for all the books I want to read.  On the upside, I’ll probably never run out of books to read!

For Review:
0329141444-1 (1)Nash by Jay Crownover
-I’m a big fan of this series and although Rule is still my favorite, I think he might have met his match in Nash.  I was bummed when I was denied for this a couple of weeks ago, but the awesome people at William Morrow sent me a copy!
Tease by Sophie Jordan
-I recently read Uninvited and really liked it.  I’m excited to get to this and Foreplay soon.

Bought Audiobooks:
succubus revealedSuccubus Revealed by Richelle Mead
-This is the last book of the series, I’m about 65% in right now and so sad it’s almost coming to an end.  Until the next re-read!

Scarlet and Cress by Marissa Meyer!
-Sara got me a signed copy of Cinder last year (thanks!) and I LOVED the series when I read then earlier this month.  When I got my whopping $14 credit from the Amazon lawsuit settlement, I knew I had to use it to complete the series.  Don’t they look beautiful together???

HUGE thanks to William Morrow, Harper Teen, Simon & Schuster Audio and St. Martin’s Press!

  1. You got a lot of fantastic books this week! I’m so jealous of Cress (I want to read that SO bad and the person who was supposed to send me a copy still haven’t yet so I’m probably not going to hold out hope anymore), I’m glad that you loved the series 😀 I love Rites of Passage and Blonde Ops’ cover, as well. Happy reading, Nereyda! <33

I’ve been seeing the new HarperTeen titles on lots of blogs but need to resist until I reduce the size of my review stack. I haven’t spent all of my Amazon credit yet and am still debating on what to choose. Come see what I added this week at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!

  3. Yay for Tease! I absolutely loved Foreplay so I can’t wait! Sophie is one of my favorites. 🙂 I haven’t yet read any of Jay’s books but I have them all to read and review. Soon, maybe. I’m so burnt out on contemporaries right now. Blonde Ops looks adorable! I think I saw it somewhere before. I don’t think I got any $$ from Amazon, I know I got some from B&N though. I happily sent my $17! Haha. Anyways. I’m rambling. Happy reading Nereyda! 🙂

  4. Oooo, you got Tease! I actually liked Foreplay, which surprised me, because it’s a New Adult contemporary romance novel. But it’s a good one. You downloaded like, all of the Harper books I DIDN’T download LOL. I snagged In a Handful of Dust and Poisoned Apples. Don’t Touch intrigues me, so I might go back for that one. I hope you enjoy all of your new books, Nereyda! And you’re so right – 2014 is zipping by O_O

    Have a fabulous week!

  5. That is a lot of books! Those are some good digital books, I’ve seen them around. I hope you enjoy Clipped Wings, I know you’re excited for it! Those copies of The Lunar Chronicles looks amazing, I’m really considering them for myself, but I’m going to borrow them first, give them a chance before buying. Great post hun! 😀

  6. I still need to read my copies of Cinder and Scarlet. lol I’m hoping maybe this summer? I’ve been doing pretty good so far this year reading non-review books too and I want to keep it up. Then I can go get Cress! (I got $8.03 ebook credit from B&N lol)
