30 Day Book Challenge: Days 14/15/16/17!

Posted September 17, 2012 by Nereyda/ 5 Comments

I found this challenge at Jude’s blog @In Between and thought it was awesome!

I got behind on this challenge again so here are my answers to days 14/15/16 and 17:

Day 15:

5 books you really really want to read and haven’t had the chance for whatever reason:

Clockwork Angelby Cassandra Clare

Clockwork Princeby Cassandra Clare

Catching Jordanby Miranda Keneally

City of Lost Soulsby Cassandra Clare

Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver

Day 15:

A book you haven’t read and have no intention of ever reading:

This is an easy one.

The Fifty Shades of Grey books.  Those books are such a joke!

(Sorry, I refuse to put the pictures on my blog)

Day 16:

A book that you think is highly overrated:

Sadly I had high hopes for these books but I couldn’t get over certain weird factors.

Incarnate by Jodi Meadows

Every Day by David Levithan

Day 17:
A book that you think is woefully underrated:

There are so many books that I think are highly underrated.  They have AMAZING ratings but unfortunately not many people have read them 🙁

Succubus Bluesseries by Richelle Mead

The Chicagoland Vampires series by Chloe Neill

The Demon Trappersseries by Jana Oliver

Seriously guys, these books ROCK!  If you haven’t read them yet you should ASAP!

  1. Awesome post! Ahh you have to read Pandemonium and The Infernal Devices those are some of my favorite books ever! And I agree about the 50 Shades books they look so…blech.

  2. I haven’t had a chance to read City of Lost Souls yet either. I started it and got bored actually. I was told it is a slow start so I’ll try again sometime. The other four were great! haha I really enjoyed all your over rated books! Incarnate and Every Day were some of my favorite reads this year but I do like weird! That might really factor into enjoyment for different people. Fifty Shades isn’t so bad. It was smexy but kind of cheesy and not life changing or anything. I love Georgina Kincaid and I have all the books in the the other two series you mentioned I just haven’t read them yet.

  3. Agree with Fifty Shades. I attempted reading the first book but I wasn’t even halfway when I decided to just scan the rest but even then, I find it boring. I was really surprised when it was recorded as the “fastest-selling paperback of all time, surpassing the Harry Potter series”. And I was like: WHAT?! Nooo…
